Vegan MoFo, Day 29 – History

Today’s prompt: History – What would you cook for your favorite historical figure? Well, our pick for this prompt leans a little more towards celebrity rather than historical, and by historical, we mean famous starting this time last year. Why are we twisting it so far? Well, we spent a large chunk of our weekend binge watching Season 2 of Stranger Things. The first season absolutely blew our minds, so we new that we would need to set aside time to watch it right away. I could go on and on, but we really should be talking about food here on our food blog.

Due to our busy weekend in front of the television, we didn’t get a chance to do much cooking, or even planning for meals. So, I cooked up a quick breakfast for dinner scrounged from things we had in the house. I whipped up a quick scramble using Follow Your Heart vegan egg, habenero pepper, a mixture of Violife and Parmela cheddar cheeses, and hash browns! On the side, a few slices of baguette left over from a party we had on Friday. It came together super quickly and was delicious. That’s why we cooked this dinner for the Duffer Brothers, to thank them for filling our weekend with wonderful television!

It’s not an Eggo, but we enjoyed it!

Until next time,

Mike
